F1 2013 will be speeding into stores on October 4 for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360, publisher Codemasters has announced.
This latest entry in the long-running racing franchise includes a host of new content, such as the new F1 Classics mode. Here, gamers can take classic cars for a spin on history’s most iconic tracks against legendary F1 drivers.
F1 Classics features an intro by the celebrated and exuberant commentator Murray Walker, and centres on a fictional racing series giving players access to a multitude of cars, drivers and circuits from the 1980s. Content isn’t just limited to single-player either; you’ll be able to enjoy split-screen and online multiplayer too.
F1 2013: Classic Edition adds even more classic goodies, such as 1990s content and Classic Tracks. Alternatively, both packs will be available as post-launch DLC for those who own the standard release of the game.
Bringing things up to date, F1 2013 will feature all cars and drivers from the 2013 season. Expect to go tyre-to-tyre with the likes of Lewis Hamilton in his Mercedes as well as Segio Perez in the McLaren-Mercedes. Rounding out the F1 2013 package is a host of enhancements, split-screen and online multiplayer, plus new and returning game modes.
