Fallout 4: Bethesda announces plans for post-launch updates, add-ons and DLC

As if us former vault dwellers could be even more excited than we already are for Fallout 4, Bethesda Game Studios has announced that it already has plans for more content and features!

First off, Bethesda will be doing regular updates to constantly improve and tweak your wasteland hi-jinks and endeavors. For example, the Maryland-based studio added things like mounted combat, legendary mode, kill cams, visual enhancements and more for Skyrim. Bethesda has always been great about listening to what its fans want, and is planning to listen to figure out what we’d love to see with this game.

Secondly, mods. Like all of its previous games, Bethesda has made sure that Fallout 4 stays moddable through every step of development. Early next year, the developer isplanning to release a free new Creation Kit for PC, which is actually the same tool used in the studio, and on top of that, these same mods will be available for PS4 and Xbox One!

To top it all off, there will of course be DLC. We always ask for more and Bethesda is always happy to oblige. That’s not the most exciting part, though. To reward its most loyal of fans, Bethesda will be offering Season Passes, which include all Fallout 4 DLC that will ever be made for this title. This can be in your grasp for the amazing price of $30, which is more than worth the extra content you can get. Bethesda hasn’t confirmed what the DLC will be yet, but we can expect a release early next year.
