Want some free, unlimited bottle caps? Well, there’s currently an infinite money glitch for Fallout 4 which works with some of the merchants. Follow the instructions below, or watch the video to see it in action.
– Find a merchant that sells ammo. In our case, we went to Trudy at the Drumlin diner. You can find her location in the video below. Note – the glitch doesn’t work with some merchants and is likely to be patched very shortly. It does work with Arturo Rodriguez at the Commonwealth Weaponry shop in Diamond City’s marketplace, and Myrna at Diamond City Surplus, also in the marketplace.
– Buy all their ammo of one type. For example, we bought Trudy’s whole batch of .45 ammo. Do not complete the transaction at this point.
– Sell her 1x ammo of that type back. Do this six times, so you’ve sold her six pieces of the ammo that you originally bought. Once again, do not complete the transaction.
– Now, sell the rest of that ammo type back to her (all of it). You’ll notice that you still have some of that ammo in your inventory.
– You can now keep selling her that remaining ammo back and it will not be removed from your inventory, meaning you can take her for every penny that she has.
– Be careful to check how much cash she has to spend. You can only sell her ammo up to that amount. Once you’ve reached the maximum, then complete the transaction to send those precious bottle caps to your wallet.
