Fallout 4 won’t be unveiled at this week’s Game Awards

Bethesda has confirmed that the much-anticipated Fallout 4 won’t be announced at The Game Awards 2014 this Friday.

Rumors on the fourth installment in the post-apocalyptic RPG franchise have been doing the rounds for some time now, and it was expected the game would be announced at TGA, due to the fact Bethesda opted to announce The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim at the show’s predecessor, the VGAs back in 2010.

However, the publisher has no plans to unveil Fallout 4, and won’t actually be showing off anything new at all. Of course, we’re pretty used to that by now.

Regardless, TGAs will play host to a number of world premieres, including a new Metal Gear Online and fresh footage of the upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive titles, Bloodborne and The Order: 1886.
