NateTheHate, a reliable insider with a strong track record, has backed up previous chatter about a Fallout: New Vegas Remake, stating that those reports “have merit.”
Back in January it was reported by Windows Central during a deep-dive on the future of Xbox that A Fallout 3 Remake was in the pipeline, which would be similar to what Bethesda accomplished with lats year’s The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered. However, in addition to this, the report also stated that a Fallout New Vegas Remake was in the pipeline.
Nate was asked on X if the reports about a Fallout New Vegas Remake were real, to which he responded, “The previous rumours have merit.” Obviously nothing has been confirmed yet, so we’ll just have to wait for an official announcement from Bethesda.
Fallout: New Vegas was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and released in 2010 for PS3 and Xbox 360. The game’s director, Josh Sawyer, stated during a Q&A on YouTube a few years ago that he would be up for making a new Fallout game if he were afforded a certain amount of creative freedom.
