The latest issue of Japanese gaming bible Famitsu has unwrapped the first concrete details on White Knight Chronicles: Episode Portable Dogma Wars for PSP.
Apparently, the handheld outing is set approximately 10,000 years before the original PS3 White Knight Chronicles and its seque, and is touted by Level 5 as a “military drama” chronicling the making of the game’s knights.
In contrast to the previous games, however, the White Knight in this latest offering takes on the form of your enemy, as opposed to an alley. As for a release date, Famitsu states it’ll arrive in Japan next year.
Don’t hold your breath for a U.S. and European release, though – White Knight Chronicles 2 has yet to make the transition to western shores, so it’ll likely be a while before we get our hands on this gem.
