Fantasian Is Reportedly On Its Way To Home Consoles

Industry insider Nate the Hate has claimed that Fantasian is coming to consoles as part of a new partnership between Square Enix and developer Mistwalker.

According to the tipster, the game will be officially announced for PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox formats during Nintendo’s latest Direct broadcast later today.

Fantasian is the brainchild of Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, and was originally released for Apple Arcade in 2021 and was followed by Part 2 a few months later. The project marked Sakaguchi’s first traditional-RPG since Xbox 360 title Lost Odyssey

Fantasian features nearly 160 unique hand-crafted biomes and offers between 60-90 hours of playtime, with players given plenty of freedom to explore the world and take on quests. The game utilise the Dimengeon Battle mechanic, which gives you the chance to send previously encountered foes to a separate dimensional dungeon to streamline combat and enjoy uninterrupted exploration of locations.
