Rainy Frog and O.T.K Games have announced that Sword of the Vagrant will launch on November 30, 2022 for PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. The PS5 version of the fantasy-RPG is scheduled to roll out at some point in 2023.
The game was originally due to show up for last-generation consoles in June 2022, but was pushed back. The game sees players controlling Vivian the Vagrant across “vibrant and dynamic landscapes” while battling against various nasties throughout haunted castles, lush forests and wrecked battlegrounds.
Sword of the Vagrant takes the form of a 2D action-RPG sprinkled with fantasy elements, with players unleashing combo-based attacks against enemies and utilising special skills to turn the tide of battle. The press blurb says you can play casually or really go to town in becoming a master combatant, so it sounds like it’s pretty open to different play styles.
Sword of the Vagrant is due out on November 30 for PS4, Switch and Xbox One, with a PS5 release following in 2023.
