Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine have both been delayed, and will now arrive at some point after April 2021 thanks to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

Far Cry 6 And Rainbow Six Quarantine Delayed

The delay means that both games will arrive at the latest by March 2022, having been pushed into the publisher’s 2021-22 financial year beginning April 1, 2021. Far Cry 6 was originally pencilled in for release on February 18, 2021 while Rainbow Six Quarantine had not been dated but was set to turn up by March 31, 2021.

Ubisoft said that the delay was “due to production challenges related to work from home” amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.

Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine have not yet attracted a new concrete release date, but hopefully we’ll hear something early next year. In the meantime, Watch Dogs Legion is out today and will be followed by Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on November 10.
