Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 6 will be free-to-play from February 16 – 20 on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
Players will have access to the base version of the game as well as its Rambo: All the Blood and Stranger Things crossover missions, and if you take part in any co-op shenanigans, you’ll also gain access to the White Lotus Sniper Rifle.
As is usually the case, any progress you make during the Far Cry 6 free-to-play weekend will transfer over to the full version of the game if you decide to buy it. If that’s the case, you can take advantage of a discount on the game which will save you in the region of 50 — 70% off depending on the version you choose.
Far Cry 6 was released in October 2021 for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, and you can read our full review here.
