Far Cry Primal tops U.K. Charts, but Street Fighter 5 takes a beating

Ubisoft’s Far Cry Primal has muscled in on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s chart reign in the U.K., with the prehistoric action-adventure finally dethroning the Activision juggernaut.

Far Cry Primal debuted at no.1 following its launch on February 26, with 58 percent of all copies sold on the PlayStation 4 and 42 percent going to the Xbox One version of the open-world game.

It was a pretty busy week for new releases, with Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 taking second place with a 60-40 split between Xbox One and PS4, respectively. This gave FIFA 16 a chance to punt Black Ops 3 down to fourth place as the footie title slips into third.

Capcom’s Street Fighter V had a rough week however, with the fighting game sequel taking a battering and falling down to number ten after entering the charts in second place just last week on PS4 and PC.
