Farming Simulator PS3 release date announced

Focus Home Entertainment has stapled-gunned a September 4 release date to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Farming Simulator.

The agriculture-‘em-up has proven a massive hit across the globe on PC, selling millions of copies since its inception some years back.

Developed by Giants Software, the upcoming console release will feature a host of new content, chief among which includes a new U.S. environment and new vehicles.

Farming Simulator will also be putting in an appearance at Gamescom next week.

Featuring a massive open world to plough through (pardon the pun), Farming Simulator offers all the modern day challenges faced by farmers for you to tackle head-on. Manage your own farm and its various properties, from crops to cows, chickens and sheep, as you expand your business and gain access to more sophisticated machinery.
