The latest issue of Japanese publication Jump has confirmed that floppy-haired FFXII protagonist Vaan will be joining the cast of Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy as a playable character.
Details are sketchy at present, though the magazine does reveal that Vaan’s EX attack will take the form of the Mist Knack. Furthermore, in addition to his standard FFXII costume, players will also be able to kit him out in a more pirate-esque outfit designed by Yoshitaka Amano.
Vaan will join the likes of FFIV’s Kain, FFVII’s Tifa and FFXIII’s Lightning as one of the many new combatants to appear in the sequel. Expect more details on the FFXII hero to emerge in the next week or so.
