The winter upgrades for FIFA 17 are incoming from EA Sports giving a select amount of players a stat boost.
Though a release day for the four batches of updates are yet to be confirmed, Ultimate Team believes that the first winter upgrade will land this Friday on February 3 with three further updates on the next three Fridays.
Along with Premiership stars, including Diego Costa, Adam Llanna and Eden Hazard, some Serie A and Bundesliga players will also receive a stat boost.
Theres’s also some great news about FIFA 18 this week! During a financial conference call, Electronic Arts has confirmed that FIFA’s The Journey story mode will return for the next iteration in the football series later this year.
"FIFA 18 will build on the foundation we created with story mode this year, bringing players back to The Journey with Season 2, featuring new characters and new storylines," said EA CEO, Andrew Wilson.
"Our development team in Vancouver is delivering deeply innovative new experiences across this year’s game, including an Ultimate Team, and creating the most emotionally immersive and connected FIFA we have ever produced."
In FIFA 17, The Journey took players through the career of Alex Hunter, an upcoming Premier League player as he rose through the ranks at the club of your choice. It was fantastic new addition to the series with some great voice acting and cinematic cut-scenes that captured the spirit of football and some its dramas!
A FIFA 18 release date has yet to be announced, but judging by previous years we’d expect it to launch in September 2017.
