Since being officially announced at E3 last year, news on Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age has been pretty scarce. That changed today when Square Enix revealed the release date for the game for several regions during their Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary celebration. Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be making its way exclusively to PS4 on July 11 in North America and Europe, and July 13 in Japan and the rest of Asia.

As part of a collaboration for the HD re-release, sky pirate Balthier will be making his way into World of Final Fantasy as well in a future free update. No date was given as to when this will happen, but if it’s anything like the World of Final Fantasy cross-promotion with Kingdom Hearts 2.8 where they brought Sora to the game, you can probably expect it around the same time that FFXII: The Zodiac Age launches.
