The open beta phase for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be accessible between August 17-19 for PlayStation 3 and PC gamers.
Players who have pre-ordered the game will also be able to play the MMO prior to release on August 24. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn launches officially on August 27, 2013.
There’s a range of incentives for early adopters including Veteran awards for those who subscribe from launch day. Shortly after release, players can look forward to a free companion app for iOS entitled Final Fantasy 14: Libra Eorzea.
A PlayStation 4 version has been confirmed though a release date has yet to be announced.
