Square Enix has lifted the lid on the Final Fantasy XIV update 9.47 patch notes for you to digest, and this is a major update bringing heaps of extra content as part of what’s known as Newfound Adventure.This is otherwise known as Final Fantasy XIV update 6.1.

Players must first complete the main scenario quest “Endwalker,” the tank role quest “A Path Unveiled,” the melee DPS role quest “To Calmer Seas,” the physical ranged DPS role quest “Laid to Rest,” the magical ranged DPS role quest “Ever March Heavensward,” and the healer role quest “The Gift of Mercy.”
- The following issues have been addressed.
- An issue when undertaking the trial the Minstrel’s Ballad: Shinryu’s Domain wherein the status effect “the Worm’s Curse” did not function as intended.
- An issue during certain boss battles in the dungeon the Stigma Dreamscape wherein the range of certain ground-targeted actions was farther than intended.
- An issue when undertaking the raid Asphodelos: The Third Circle (Savage) wherein the status effect resistance of Darkened Fire
- An issue when undertaking the raids Asphodelos: The Fourth Circle and Asphodelos: The Fourth Circle (Savage) wherein certain action effects expired unintentionally when stage mechanics caused the floor to change.
- An issue wherein the location of certain marks written in guildship mark bills was incorrect.
- An issue wherein the dark knight status effect Walking Dead could not be removed under certain circumstances.
- An issue wherein the effect of Opo-opo Form expired when Arm of the Destroyer or Shadow of the Destroyer missed a target.
- An issue wherein executing the ninja PvE action Bunshin under certain conditions caused the status effects of Bunshin and Phantom Kamaitachi to expire erroneously.
- An issue wherein executing the dancer PvE actions windmill or bladeshower under certain conditions caused the status effects Silken Symmetry and Silken Flow to expire erroneously.
- An issue wherein certain action text descriptions were incorrect.
* The effects of this actions have not been changed. - An issue when using the Battle Stance emote as a reaper wherein using a different emotion during the Battle Stance motion would cause the emote graphics to display incorrectly.
- An issue when equipping Ktiseos Bottoms of Healing or Ktiseos Bottoms of Casting with a female character wherein the coloring of the gear displayed incorrectly.
- An issue wherein the graphics of certain gear displayed incorrectly.
- An issue wherein the food effect granted by Yakow Moussaka was incorrect.
- An issue wherein the graphics displayed when using certain food items was incorrect.
- An issue wherein certain food items were incorrectly categorized.
- An issue wherein the items yielded when desynthesizing certain items were incorrect.
- An issue wherein certain gathering spots in areas added in Patch 6.0 erroneously overlapped with FATEs.
- An issue in Thavnair wherein using the botanist action Arbor Call under certain conditions did not display the location of ephemeral gathering points on the minimap.
- An issue in Ultima Thule wherein using the fisher action Cast at fishing holes under certain conditions displayed the name of the wrong fishing hole.
- An issue when playing as a Viera male wherein the size of their chocobo as a companion and as a mount were different.
- An issue wherein the items available from scrip exchange NPCs were incorrect.
