Final Fantasy XV’s game world will be around 10 times larger than that of the area featured in Episode Duscae, Square Enix has said.
Speaking during the latest Active Time Report broadcast, Game Director Hajime Tabata noted that players should not take the game world in the demo as representative of the final version.
For example, the final game will incorporate the much-requested presence of towns, an aspect that was conspicuously missing from Final Fantasy XIII.
Final Fantasy XV is due out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the playable demo, Episode Duscae, arriving as part of Day-One copies of the March release of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.
Tabata-san confirmed during the same broadcast that the demo will not support Share Play.
