D.C. Douglas, best known to gamers as the voice of Resident Evil’s Albert Wesker, has confirmed his involvement in the upcoming Final Fantasy XV for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The voice actor let slip the info in a post on his official website, although at this point in time it isn’t known what character he will be playing.
He’s also set to appear in the upcoming Resident Evil spin-off, Umbrella Corps, plus a host of other games including Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma, God Eater 1: Burst, and God Eater 2: Rage Burst.
Douglas took over as the voice of Wesker from Richard Waugh beginning with Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, and went on to appear in a number of other titles in the series, including the multi-million selling Resident Evil 5.
Final Fantasy XV is scheduled for release in 2016, with Square Enix set to announce a firm release date during an event in March. The game was originally announced at E3 2006 as the PS3-exclusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
