The development team confirmed recently that the game will take players around 70-80 hours for 100% completion, although if you’re just interested in playing the main story, it’ll take around 35 hours.
Final Fantasy XVI’s producer, Naoki Yoshida, has said that he isn’t ruling out a possible crossover between the upcoming RPG and Final Fantasy XIV. Interestingly, the team also revealed that the highly anticipated title isn’t using the Unreal Engine 5 or Luminous Engine, but wouldn’t reveal what tech is actually powering the game.
While the game isn’t an open-world title, Yoshida-san confirmed that it will utilise large-scale maps although players will not encounter optional dungeons.
