This is the first we’ve heard anything about the timing of the game’s exclusivity to Sony’s home console, although we knew that Final Fantasy XVI is also coming to PC.
Speaking in a recent interview, the game’s director revealed that players can expect to take around 35-40 hours to complete Final Fantasy XVI, although this number increases when you factor in side activities.
Elsewhere, producer Naoki Yoshida revealed during a chat with Famitsu magazine that Final Fantasy XVI’s development is about 95% complete, and he expects the release date to be announced by the end of the year.
Final Fantasy XVI is pencilled in for a release in Summer 2023 for PS5.
