Concord developer Firewalk Studios revealed a new series of animated shorts called Concord: Freegunner Adventures, where players will see and learn more about Concord’s cast of characters that are the game’s Freegunners.
The first animated short titled Crew First features Teo, Jabali and It-Z on a job where things don’t entirely go according to plan, but as Freegunners they’re more than capable of handling themselves in tight situations.
Firewalk Studios community lead Bethany Hulse says in a PlayStation Blog post that this series is meant to “further unpack our launch roster of 16 playable Freegunners.”

While Hulse does say that the shorts are part of a “limited” series, it’ll be interesting to see if it continues on beyond the initial 16 characters.
If they do, then these animated shorts could be the main way Firewalk executes on its storytelling in Concord.
