Insomniac Games had a big presence at this year’s Comic-Con, complete with a panel session featuring Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time. The session included exclusive video footage that is apparently too exclusive for the public, but over at the PlayStation Blog, Insomniac’s James Stevenson posted the first footage of Clank in action.
Insomniac’s creative director Brian Allgeier narrates the video, which shows off some of Clank’s new abilities. Clank’s new Time Pads allows him to record himself and replay various segments of time to solve puzzles. He’ll also have access to the Chronocepter, a staff that creates an orb to slow down time. We imagine this will also come in handy for some of the more involved puzzles, not to mention an effective weapon.
