EA Sports is hosting somewhat of an analytical contest for NCAA Football fans to focus on the visual improvements of the 2012 version of the game. Within the debut screenshots and developer video for NCAA Football 12, EA Sports hopes fans will notice enhancements such as HDR (High Dynamic Range Rendering), better character models, and more defined field grass.

Jean Adams, art director at EA Sports, posted NCAA Football 12’s first developer diary, showing gamers some of the first footage inside the upgraded engine. While the visual enhancements look great, it will be interesting to see what the developers have in store for gameplay improvements this season.
