The first official review for The Order: 1886 has been published by French Magazine JVM.
The review rates the game 15/20 and, according to Google Translate, praises the graphics, audio and ‘good’ shooter gameplay. Negative points signal the slow pacing due to cut-scenes, which it claims makes up half the game, which took the magazine around 7-8 hours to complete.
However, the review ends on a positive note, stating that The Order: 1886 offers a universe that is "so compelling that you want to completely dive in and immerse yourself!"
