Despite the lack of fishing games for PS4, 2017 is proving to be quite a catch for fans of angling.
Following the release of the Euro Fishing Urban Edition, there’s now confirmation that a Fishing Planet PS4 release is incoming.
Created by Fishing Planet Studio, it will be a free-to-play title, and is described as a “realistic fishing simulator”.
The studio claims to have recreated the natural behaviour of fish and ultra-realistic graphics. Among the features are:
- Fishing tournaments and competitions
- Online and local play
- PS4 Pro support
The Fishing Planet release date has been confirmed as August 29, 2017.
