Fool's Theory's Character-Driven RPG The Thaumaturge Is Coming To PS5 On December 4

Developer Fool’s Theory is bringing its character-rich RPG, The Thaumaturge, to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on December 4, 2024.

Previously released for the PC, The Thaumaturge takes place in 1905 in Warsaw where players follow Wiktor, a thaumaturge returning to his roots. You’ll unravel the secret of the world-weary thaumaturge’s trouble past in this culturally diverse city, with its residents representing every facet of Warsaw’s society.

Players will battle foes using physical attacks and skills acquired from tamed Salutors during turn-based combat, and use your unique skill to influence and manipulate other characters to bend their will to your advantage. Your choices will ultimately shape the outcome of the story in this isometric RPG, as you explore a rarely portrayed historical period of the 20th century.

The Thaumaturge is due out on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on December 4.
