Forged by Chaos, an online fantasy game for the PC, may be heading to the PlayStation 3 now that the development team is using the CryEngine 3. According to the Forged by Chaos website, the game will be coming to consoles.
The development team, Panzar Studios, is creating an online fantasy game with strong ties to the RPG genre, meaning you’ll have a character to upgrade with weapons, skills, magic, and more. You’ll progress from a novice to a warlord through a series of battles, as highlighted in the video below.
Classes include specialists, mages, tanks, and healers. These classes are determined by which God the character allies with. You’ll also find your usual assortment of races: elves, orcs, dwarves, and humans. What interests us is the apparent use of guns – it’s a Tolkien-style premise with a Bad Boys 2 feel.
We’ll be sure to have more information on Forged by Chaos, especially when we get an official announcement that the game is headed to PS3. Until then, feast your eyes on the video (which was released a bit ago, but now carries the CryEngine 3 logo), and check out screens here.
