Forspoken PS5 Load Times Are Barely Noticeable Thanks To The Console’s SSD

Square Enix has revealed during a recent livestream that Luminous Productions‘ ambitious-looking Forspoken will feature virtually no loading times thanks to the PS5’s SSD, affording players fast travel without any interruptions.

A translation of the stream provided by Genki_JPN on Twitter reveals that Forspoken includes a 3D world map and over 100 magic spells split into four major categories, with the game’s RPG mechanics worked on by individuals who worked on Final Fantasy XV.

Furthermore, Square Enix said that Forspoken isn’t developed with multiple playthroughs in mind, and that you can simply continue playing in the game world after completing the main campaign. Its narrative is similar to the likes of Narnia and Alice in Wonderland, the publisher continued.
