LucasArts plans to publish a PlayStation 3 demo of terrain-jiggering shooter Fracture on Thursday September 18.
Fracture is set in a post-global-meltdown world split between two factions – the Atlantic Alliance and the Republic of Pacifica. We’re still trying to work out which is the USA. Each side has access to futuristic technology, which enables them to play with the geography at will, ploughing craters into the earth or blasting up miniature hillocks. 12-strong online multiplayer has been promised.
The game is down for release on October 7 in the US and Europe and October 30 in Japan. Cheers to Eurogamer for the heads up.
