Free Fallout 4 PS5 Upgrade Coming In 2023, Confirms Bethesda

Bethesda has announced that Fallout 4 is getting a free upgrade for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S in 2023, offering a wide variety of improvements over the original version of the post-apocalyptic RPG.

As detailed on the company’s official Fallout website, Fallout 4 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will feature “performance mode features for high frame rates, quality features for 4K resolution gameplay, bug fixes and even bonus Creation Club content.”

This isn’t the first time that Fallout 4 has seen some sort of enhancement for new hardware. The Xbox One X received an update for the game a few years back, adding 4K and 30 FPS. In addition, the Xbox Series X/S features an FPS boost setting for 60 FPS.
