Sony is offering a bunch of free Rise of the Ronin avatars via the PlayStation Store ahead of the game’s launch in March 2024.
Six avatars are available in total and you can claim them individually by logging into your PSN account on the game’s official page. Then, simply head to the Factions of the Bakumatsu Era of the page, where you can select between Sabaku Pro-Shogunate, Tobaku Anti-Shogunate and Obei Western Forces sections.
In total, the avatars are Naosuke II, Taka Murayama, Ryoma Sakamoto, Kogoro Katsura, Matthew Perry and Rutherford Alcock.

Rise of the Ronin takes place across war-torn 19th century Japan, and takes the form of an open-world action-RPG from the creators of Nioh and Ninja Gaiden. Set in 1863 following three centuries of the Tokugawa Shogunate’s oppressive rule, Rise of the Ronin opens as the Black Ships of the West descend up on the Nation’s borders, plunging the country into a states of turmoil.
Rise of the Ronin is scheduled for release on March 22, 2024 for PS5.
