Activision has unwrapped a fresh batch of Prototype 2 images for you to gawp at.

Prototype 2 sees shape-shifting protagonist Sergeant James Heller on a quest to eradicate the Blacklight Virus which wiped out his family. Like its predecessor, the game once again plonks players in a vast open-world packed full of missions, sidequests and a multitude of powers to wield.
The game is due out on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 on April 24 in North America, and arrives in Europe on April 27.
