Fury Unleashed Trailer Looks At Comic Book-Inspired Mayhem

Awesome Games Studio has released a new Fury Unleashed trailer, giving players an extensive look at the game’s comic book-inspired setting. If you haven’t been keeping up with Fury Unleashed, it’s an action-platformer where you literally scroll through pages of a comic book, blasting enemies and acquiring ink (clever, eh?) to upgrade your hero.

Fury Unleashed Trailer Looks Stunning

Check out the Fury Unleashed trailer below.

Fury Unleashed is an action platformer where you shoot your way through the pages of an ever-changing comic book. Take advantage of unique combo system to unleash your fury and become a whirling tornado of destruction. Discover why your creator doubted in you and prove him wrong.

Your guns are your best friends, and ink is your most valuable resource – collect it from defeated enemies to permanently upgrade your hero. The more dynamic and brave your play style, the greater the rewards! But remember to stay focused at all times, or you will die sooner than you think and lose all equipment you found on your way.

Featuring visuals inspired by Metal Slug, Fury Unleashed follows the story of John Fowalsky, author of the series, who finds himself struck by a creativity crisis, and it’s up to you to sort him out. The game sports local co-op and two difficulty settings, with action-platforming that promises ‘limitless’ movement and a combo system that rewards dynamic and brave play styles to hoover up the best rewards.

Fury Unleashed also includes randomised levels and a permadeath system, although players will still be able to keep any ink collected. There’s also three unique comic book stages to tackle: Ancient Gods, Operation Crimson Dusk, and Earth’s Last Stand.

Finally, the soundtrack is composed by Adam Skorupa and Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz, who previously worked on The Witcher, Bulletstorm, and Shadow Warrior 2.

Awesome Games Studios will launch Fury Unleashed later this year on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
