Codemasters Cheshire has revealed in a new job advertisement for a producer that it’s working on future instalments in the Need for Speed franchise.
That’s according to a snapshot of a post by Pete Johnson, Electronic Arts’ Senior Recruiter, who posted the following:
Working with in tandem with the Directors, Development Managers and teams, you will help identify potential issues and ensure that important decisions are made to enable the studio to perform to its maximum potential.
Codemasters Cheshire will come together with Criterion Games to create the future of Need for Speed. Starting with the next Need for Speed title then extending to future facing initiatives, Codemasters Cheshire will work with Criterion on creative, technical and feature execution in service to the vision outlined in the Need for Speed strategy.

The news follows up from a previous report by leaker Tom Henderson, who revealed that Codemasters Cheshire had been drafted in as a support studio for the next Need for Speed game. Evidently, it appears this has been extended beyond just one game.
