Larian Studios‘ Baldur’s Gate 3 has been crowned Game of the Year at the Game Developers Choice Awards, and also walked away with other gongs for Best Narrative, Best Design, and Audience Award.
The Lifetime Achievement Awards was given to Yoko Shimomura, a Japanese composer and pianist who worked on music for a number of titles including Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts, Street Fighter II, and Super Mario RPG. You can see the full lineup of awards below.

Baldur’s Gate 3 was released for the PC in August 2023 and arrived on PS5 the following month. Larian Studios is set to release a Deluxe Edition for the game on consoles at the end of April, which features a wealth of physical goodies alongside a copy of the game.
