Gamecock is the publisher most recently known for stampeding the stage during Spike’s Game of the Year award. It may not have been the best way to start with many consumers, but things are starting to look a little brighter.
Gamecock CEO Mike Wilson recently spoke with GI.biz regarding their philosophies, but a bit at the bottom of the interview caught our attention. Apparently, Gamecock is open to developing titles for Sony’s PlayStation Network.
While Wilson mentioned that the service isn’t quite as established as Xbox Live at the moment, he believes that "it will be" in the future, adding that "it will be interesting to see how it [PSN] emerges as a market."
Apparently, Sony is hoping to get some Gamecock titles available via PSN. "Sony really wants this Pirates vs Ninjas game we’re doing for Xbox Live and we’re platform agnostic so if we’re investing in a title let’s give it a chance wherever there is one," he said.
More on Gamecock and a possible Pirates vs Ninjas Dodgeball port to PSN when it’s available.
