Sony’s lifted the lid on two brand new IPs from SCE Studio Japan – Rain and Puppeteer.
Detailed during the platform holder’s Gamescom presser, Rain will be available for PlayStation Network and features a protagonist who can turn invisible.
The catch here is the game’s perennial rainfall will be used to track your character’s movements through puddles and the like, as well as manipulate the environment.
Meanwhile, Puppeteer tells of a young boy transported to a magical world and subsequently turned into a puppet. Here, he gets his head bitten off, and as a result can ‘wear’ new heads.
Using a pair of magical scissors as a bladed weapon, the boy must battle enemies, cut his way through fabric and dispatch hulking boss creatures.
No release date has been announced, but we’ll keep you posted.
Stay tuned.
