LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule has announced a brand new IP for PlayStation Vita by the name of Tearaway.
The game focuses on a paper chap named Iota, who you must guide to reach the real world so he’s able to deliver a message for you.
Essentially a 3D platformer, Tearaway features ample use of the PS Vita’s touchscreen capabilities, with the game world responding to your touch. For example, hit the rear touchpad to make drums beat or make Iota bounce higher and fight multiple enemies.
While Iota can look after himself, you’ll need to give him a helping hand throughout your adventure via the PS Vita’s touch functionality, with the camera also coming into play at various points.
