Geoff Keighley has teased what to expect from GamesCom Opening Night Live next week, revealing that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Monster Hunter Wilds will be among the games showcased at the event. What’s more, he confirmed that there will be new game reveals present.
Posting on X, Keighley revealed that in addition to the above games, Marvel Rivals, Dune Awakening, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Sid Meier’s Civilisation VII will be present during the event. He followed up by saying “Yes, there will be new game announcements.”

GamesCom Opening Night Live kicks off at 11.00am PST/2.00pm EST/7.00am BST on August 20, 2024, with the main show itself running August 21 — 25 in Cologne, Germany.
Previously, it was confirmed that Tarsier Studios will be showcasing a new game at Opening Night Live, while the first gameplay for Lost Records Bloom & Rage from DON’T NOD ENTERTAINMENT will be showcased.
