Remember Gargoyles, the 1995 platformer released for the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis? Well, the Disney & Marvel Game Showcase just confirmed that the classic title is getting spruced up for PC and modern consoles!
Gargoyles Remastered is being developed by Empty Clip Studios, who worked on Streets of Kamurocho a mash-up of fan-favourites Streets of Rage and Yakuza. The game will receive the batch of improvements, including enhanced visuals and controls, although a release date has yet to be announced.
For those who are scratching their heads, Gargoyles is based on Disney’s animated series that aired back in the early 1990s. The series followed a bunch of gargoyles in New York City who battle against supernatural villains, and you can check it out for yourself on Disney+ if you fancy it.
