Gears of War E-Day, the upcoming prequel title in the popular cover-based shooter franchise, is reportedly coming to the PS5 in addition to PC and Xbox formats.
That’s at least according to the resume of a game designer working on the project, which lists PS5 among the available formats. What isn’t clear at this point is if Gears of War E-Day will arrive on PS5 day-and-date with the PC and Xbox Series X/S versions, so we’ll have to wait and see.

Previously, The Coalition posted job listings for a Senior Online Client Engineer requesting applicants with experience for PlayStation Network among other formats. Meanwhile, it’s also been claimed that State of Decay 3 is coming to Sony’s latest home console, with job listings listing PS5 as a target platform.
While nothing official has been confirmed in regards to the above two games, Gears of War Reloaded, a remastered version of the classic original 2006 shooter, is coming to the PS5 in late August.
