Open World Adventure, Genshin Impact Announced For PS4

Genshin Impact, an Open World Action Adventure title just announced is coming to PS4 in 2020.

Genshin Impact was only just revealed during ChinaJoy 2019. The game is set in a fantasy world called Teyvat. You play as ‘The Traveler’ who awakes from a long sleep on the shore alone, has lost connection with their sibling, and has scarce knowledge of this mysterious land.

The game is filled with secrets and surprises with full freedom of movement and fast travel systems. You can reach all corners of the world, searching dungeons, discovering encampments, and taking in the beauty of the landscape. The seven cities have their own unique style and distinct architecture. Player housing and outfit customisation are also being considered for the game.

The game will feature more than 30 characters with distinct personalities, appearances, combat styles, elemental attacks and more. You will be able to customise your party of four to your playstyle.

Combat is also a big part of the game. The PlayStation Blog states:

Genshin Impact features a natural elemental interaction system for the purpose of puzzle-solving, combat and exploration. Characters have control over one of seven natural elements, such as Pyro, Hyrdo, Electro, Anemo, Dendro etc. which allows them to showcase unique and powerful elemental attacks.

Meanwhile, your thoughtfulness and observations are key to using powers to create effective interactions and use them to overcome any obstacle you encounter.
