Chatting with Voxel, creative director Nate Fox revealed that it’s tough to pin an exact time frame on how long Ghost of Tsushima will last, but when asked if it would take about 40-50 hours, Fox said this would likely be the case.

Yes, absolutely. But I would highly recommend that everyone get off the main route and get lost on the island of Tsushima, since there is a lot to discover there.

Elsewhere, there’s a boatload of new details coming in from IGN Nordic, again during talk with Fox. Among the details revealed includes the fact Ghost of Tsushima features the biggest game world that Sucker Punch has crafted to date, and the map displayed during State of Play is just a small portion of the beginning area.

There’s no morality system present, while Jin’s main weapon will be the katana, although there’s others to pick up including various gadgets. Finally, Fox revealed that the game’s visuals are inspired by The Legend of Zelda and Shadow of the Colossus.

Ghost of Tsushima is due for release on July 19 exclusively for the PS4.
