There are four different stances in Ghost of Tsushima and one of the first you unlock is the Water Stance. This guide for Ghost of Tsushima tells you how to unlock the Water Stance.
Ghost Of Tsushima – How To Unlock The Water Stance
The Water Stance in Ghost of Tsushima can be unlocked early in the game, within the game’s first region, Izuhara.
This stance is granted to Jin after he has observed or killed three Mongol leaders throughout Tsushima. These Mongol leaders can be found in main and side missions in the game, roaming the world, and in Mongol camps, which are spread throughout the region.
This stance is strong against Shieldmen. Upon unlocking the stance, you will gain access to two different combos. This stance can then be upgraded with the following upgrades.
The first upgrade is four rapid strikes. The second provides you with increased stagger damage against Shieldmen. The third increases your rapid strikes to 5 in a row. The final upgrade in the tree will allow you to inflict increasing damage with each attack in the Flurry Strike.
This stance will help you in the early stages of the game to succeed against the Shieldmen, which can be hard to fight early on.
Ghost of Tsushima has a number of different stances and we have a whole load of guides and tips on how to get them, all the collectibles, and the locations of every activity and customisation item in the game. Be sure to keep up to date with them all on our website.
