New details have surfaced on the upcoming Ghost Recon Wildlands PvP mode following an extensive datamine conducted by YouTuber, JRavens.
According to the gameplay details contained within the datamine, the new game mode will feature AI opponents and feature both NPCs and Resources as an important gameplay component. Similar to Titanfall’s multiplayer mode, it appears that Ghost Recon Wildlands PvP offering will let you dispatch enemy AI in both team deathmatch game modes and objective-based missions, which net your team small point bonuses.

The datamine also seems to confirm that at least one of Wildlands’ PvP modes will feature resource collection, much like the single-player campaign. We’re also given hints that players will have to battle over specific objective spawns to collect said resources, with the team that nabs the required number of goodies first wins the bout.
As expected, the PvP mode for the latest Tom Clancy title will pit two teams on opposite sides of the map at the start of each match, and it appears the same map may be utilised more than once, albeit with different objectives and layouts. Right now, it’s unknown how large the maps will be as there’s no in-game images available yet.
Ghost Recon Wildlands was released on PS4, PC, and Xbox One in March 2017 and is currently the best-selling game of that month in the U.K. based on physical retail sales. The game topped the charts for a number of weeks following its debut, fending off stiff competition from the likes of Mass Effect Andromeda, Horizon Zero Dawn, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Stay tuned for more details on the Ghost Recon Wildlands PvP mode as it becomes available.
