Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime announced

Atari’s unwrapped the first details on an all-new downloadable Ghostbusters outing for PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE Arcade and Windows PC.

Known as Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, the game will be a top-down co-op affair, which sees players hopping in to the shoes of the rookie chap from Ghostbusters: The Video Game.

Online and offline co-op have been confirmed, as have a gaggle of ghosts and ghouls to battle including some massive boss creatures. Sadly though, it doesn’t look like Bill Murray or Dan Ackroyd will be popping up to lend their voices this time around.

Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is currently in the works over at Chilian studio Wanako and is pencilled in for a spring 2011 launch.
