Goat Simulator announced for PS4 and PS3, coming August

Goat Simulator is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on August 11, Double Eleven Limited has announced on the PlayStation Blog.

The cult hit, which has enjoyed success on the PC and Xbox platforms, will make its way to Sony formats thanks to a collaboration between Double Eleven and Coffee Stain.

Goat Simulator more than you may think. Aside from headbutting your way to farmyard glory, you can fly on a jetpack, blow stuff up, perform mid-air tricks and even go toe-to-toe with other gamers via a frantic multiplayer mode.

Not only that, but the PlayStation editions will feature the debut of the GoatVR experience:

"We’ve been working on GoatVR for some time, and we’re pleased to debut it in the PlayStation editions of Goat Simulator," announced Double Eleven’s Chief Operating Officer, Mark South. "GoatVR is the most authentic ‘simulated GoatVR experience’ that doesn’t require a helmet or anything. Although it’s not quite ready yet we felt it better to stay ahead of the crowd and let it out into the wild.

"We still need to do that part where it connects to an actual headset but for now you can enjoy a simulated GoatVR experience without it."
