God of War: Where to find Niflheim Alloy

god of war finder's fee

God of War's newest addition for PS4 is set in a whole new world. Unlike the past seven games in the series, which are all set around Greek Mythology, the latest God of War sequel is based on Norse Mythology.

In this series, Kratos has to face unfamiliar territories, new enemies, and his new life as a father to his son, Atreus. God of War has always been known for its heart-pumping combat and its armor and weapons. To reach the full potential of these weapons, you will need crafting elements like Niflheim Alloy.

Niflheim Alloy Location in God of War

You can find Niflheim Alloy in one of the nine Norse worlds or realms, Niflheim. Niflheim means “Mist Home”, the “Abode of Mist” or “Mist World”. Kratos explores Norse realms and fights big bosses and lots of enemies, including The Stranger and Valkyrie which are female beings who have killed warriors from Valhalla.

Kratos' journey here is all about change. Kratos' major weapon now is a magical axe instead of his signature double-chained blades. Combat has been vastly improved with Kratos’ ability to throw his axe which returns to him. He’s also got a “Rage” ability, which you can trigger by filling the rage meter. Once it's full, it releases a powerful attack which greatly damages opponents.

When you explore Niflheim, look for treasure coffins. Typically, you’ll get one, two, or three pieces of Niflheim Alloy drop from them. Big red treasure chests can give you a better chance of getting more Niflheim Alloy. The legendary or golden treasure chests also seem to drop more Niflheim Alloy than the regular ones.
