God Of War Ragnarok PC Hits Nearly 23,000 Concurrent Users On Steam

The PC version of God of War Ragnarok is now available to grab courtesy of Jetpack Interactive and Sony Santa Monica Studio, and has recorded 23,000 concurrent users on Steam for its debut

This figure is noticeable lower than the 73,000 number achieved by the original God of War when it hit PC a few years ago, and perhaps isn’t what you’d expect from a marquee PlayStation Studios title. Then again, Sony’s first-party PC ports have been recording a bit of a drop in numbers, with the likes of Horizon Forbidden West and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales seeing lower concurrent users than their predecessors.

That’s not to say it’s all been bad news. Helldivers 2, released back in February, saw record-breaking numbers and Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut debuted to 77,000 concurrent users when it hit PC.

God of War Ragnarok was originally released for the PS5 and PS4 in November 2022, and some of its PC-specific customisation features will be making their way to consoles later down the line.
